THAT WE'LL REMEMBER
The victors and the vanquished, the lives destroyed and hopes dashed. In the midst of torture and suffering, and the shame of surrender, are stories of triumphs, tales of hope, and the indomitable spirit of perseverance and endurance of those interned in Changi Prison during the time of the WW2 Japanese Occupation of Singapore.
Changi Prison Museum is a solemn presentation of the fateful defeat and surrender of the once mighty British fortress of Singapore during WW2. More importantly, it honours the memories of those that perished, and those that survived, and their tales of heroism and stoicism in the face of adversity.Their heroic stories are splendidly told here.
RLC recommends :
It's air-conditioned, so you can take advantage of that and plan for the midday visit.
